We’ve previously written about Jim Thalassoudis (see HERE and HERE), and continue to be amazed by this talented Australian artist.
When we last wrote about Jim (see HERE), he had just completed a project with APositive where he brought his Skipping Girl painting to life using augmented reality.
“Little Audrey: The Skipping Girl” is also the subject of Jim’s latest project, which is one of the most mesmerizing pieces of time lapse footage we have ever seen. In it, you can watch Little Audrey come to life as Jim creates it from start to finish.

I saw this at the Wynne prize and was immediately drawn to it, now that I see the Mark Ryden / Kitsch stuff in Jims studio i think I know why. There’s an element of Lowbrow in there and I dig it. Great work.
