We take it for granted that when we say to someone “see you soon”, we’re going to see them again sometime soon. This wasn’t the case during World War II, however, where friends, family and loved ones had no idea if they were ever going to be reunited with their loved ones again. And sadly, many weren’t.
These pictures serve to remind us that life is short. So don’t wait until the next special occassion to tell that special someone you love them… tell them today!
