Twitter user and author A.R. Moxon has been on a campaign to invite all men to participate in an exercise of empathy. His mission has been to reframe women’s experiences with assault and sexual violence in a way that men can understand… getting kicked in the nuts.
“I can’t imagine women’s rage today,” Moxon writes. “But this exercise, while abstract, helped me get nearer to it than I’d been.”
His timing couldn’t be better. With Judge Brett Kavanaugh just being confirmed to the US Supreme Court, the world has been hit by a huge wave of anger and protest, highlighting the problems that surround sexual abuse and assault.
