Photographer Captures the Vulnerable Side of Ballet Dancers Who Bare All on NYC Rooftops

Photographer Omar Z. Robles has returned to New York to capture his latest series, Bare Sky Dance.  Robles continues to photograph his most popular subjects – male and female ballet dancers – but this time his focus is on their vulnerable side, as each of his models pose on the rooftops of some of New York City’s tallest buildings without any clothes.

According to Robles: “As a photographer I am drawn to photograph the bare form for the same reason artists throughout millennia have been drawn to it. Because it is beautiful and expressive. The simplest, purest and most eloquent form of our humanity.”
