Photographer Survives Snake Bite From The Deadliest Of All Snakes In The Name Of Art


Some artists will go to any length for art.  Just like photographer Mark Laita, who was bitten by a deadly Black Mamba snake while taking pictures of snakes for his latest photography project called Serpentine.

A poisoned bite from a Black Mamba is 100 per cent fatal.  However, Mark survived the attack because it was a dry bite with no venom injected. In fact, Mark told us that he wasn’t even aware that the snake had latched on to his leg until he looked at the photographs the following day!
